I deliver clean, timeless, and elegant photos for couples in Tampa, Florida and beyond.

Hi, I'm Eddy!

There’s something special about a wedding by the water. The Tampa bay was the perfect backdrop for the Rusty Pelican Tampa location where Bria and Kelvin tied the knot. The sky was as blue as could be with barely a cloud in view. The mix of greenery and the feint lapping of water really set the tone for one of the best weddings I worked in 2021. I loved their colors; they had a caviar gray and orange combo that just popped in the florals and details. Bria and Kelvin are such a laid back couple and their friends and family that day were so easy going, helpful and were masters at one thing: getting laughs! Seriously, I couldn’t contain my smiles all day (shoutout Adriane!). From the getting ready to the family formals, everyone’s faces had so much genuine joy and happiness.

One of my absolute favorite things on wedding days is being able to capture beautiful, unscripted reactions. Two of my favorite were with Bria. The first was when she really had a chance to look and reflect on her wedding dress. Her eyes started watering as she quietly looked at her hanging dress, as the gravity of the day slowly sunk in. The second moment was when we were rushing out of the getting ready room and she stepped into the elevator to head down. She saw herself for the first time with hair, makeup and dress absolutely on point. She was feeling herself and I was all about that!

Both Bria (Alpha Kappa Alpha) and Kelvin (Kappa Alpha Psi) have deep roots in their sorority and fraternity. During the reception the gentlemen serenaded Bria with a Sweetheart song and several ladies later gathered to sing the AKA hymn. And damn they had great voices! Though I don’t belong to any fraternities, I’ve worked with plenty in the past on projects and it’s so easy to see the lifelong bonds formed and this wedding showcased that perfectly.

Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t spotlight the sincere love that Bria and Kelvin share for each other. As I was editing the pictures, my wife would always remark that by looking at them through the pics she could tell how much love they had between them. This was something I spotted way back when I did their engagement session. Bria had five words that she wanted to describe her wedding: laid back, fun, joyful, special and love. As the person with the absolute honor of capturing the day from start to finish, I can confidently say you nailed every word.

Congrats to the Hooks!

He took the time to get to know us, our family, and friends which made everyone feel comfortable and seen during the wedding day. Throughout the process he was a phenomenal resource for the wedding industry which made the whole planning experience enjoyable, smooth and seamless.

He is one of the reasons that our wedding will forever be the best day of our lives.

"We can't say enough WONDERFUL things about our experience with Eddy—"

—the attention to detail, ease of working together, his fun personality and his dedication to his work are top notch. Simply capturing the people that were there was one thing, but Eddy captured the emotions and the story behind the entire day and for that we will be forever grateful.
