I deliver clean, timeless, and elegant photos for couples in Tampa, Florida and beyond.

Hi, I'm Eddy!

In late August I had one of the most humbling experiences in my wedding photography career yet. Stephanie and Trevor flew me out to Salt Lake City for a weekend to capture their engagement session. I’ve worked hard to instill confidence in my couples that I’ll deliver photos they’re going to absolutely love. But to instill such confidence that a couple is willing to fly me over 2,000 miles just to spend 90 minutes in front of my camera? Like I said, it was humbling. This trip had been in the works for a few months and I was so excited to capture photos in new scenery that wasn’t the flat lands of Florida.

To make the most of our time, we opted for two outfit changes in two different locations. We kicked things off at the Salt Lake City Capitol. Y’all. What a stunning building and backdrop with the grand staircase inside and the steps outside. Built over 100 years ago, the neoclassical building was laden with marble, high columns and intricate details everywhere. And it proved the perfect location for the elegant side of our shoot.

We then headed toward Sugarhouse Park, a beautiful 110-acre regional park with the Wasatch Mountains overlooking it all. I love a scenic area for pictures. But what I love even more is when there’s sentimental value. Not only did Stephanie and Trevor have their first date here, but it’s also where Trevor later proposed! To take their engagement photos was yet another step into crystallizing their relationship.

We closed the night at a local restaurant called Tradition which was hands down the best meal I had in my three-day stint. On reflection of the trip, I think that dinner was my favorite part of it all because I had a chance to just chat with them for a long time and learn about their families, jobs, interests, random fun facts (Trevor is a rap extraordinaire it seems) and more. Building that connection is key to delivering better photos on the day of because when I see them in Tampa in November for the wedding, it’ll be like seeing old friends.

“It really is an art. He was somehow able to exactly capture the fun, breezy, romantic vibe of our wedding day and our relationship, and allow us to completely relive this day through our gallery.”

"I never understood the skill and artistry of a good photographer until I met Eddy"

- Jaclynn

He took the time to get to know us, our family, and friends which made everyone feel comfortable and seen during the wedding day. Throughout the process he was a phenomenal resource for the wedding industry which made the whole planning experience enjoyable, smooth and seamless.

He is one of the reasons that our wedding will forever be the best day of our lives.

"We can't say enough WONDERFUL things about our experience with Eddy—"

—the attention to detail, ease of working together, his fun personality and his dedication to his work are top notch. Simply capturing the people that were there was one thing, but Eddy captured the emotions and the story behind the entire day and for that we will be forever grateful.
